2012 Cosplaymania Event Philippines

Finally, the biggest cosplay competition and convention is finally in town!

Happened last September 29-30 in SMX Convention center, the said event is one of the most anticipated event that every cosplayer in the Philippines would not miss.

One of my friend is on the way when Eat Bulaga did a show on their place. Here are images of Eat Bulaga crew crash on their barangay, it was intended actually by one of his friend (weh?).

Well what I can say, there are more visitors and cosplayers attended the event compared last year.


Inside, you can find booths that are selling toys and hobby related products that came from Japan - there are more retailers participating on this event too compared last year.

Also Cosplaymania 2012 is also the finals of TORCH or Cosplay: Tournament Of Champion which the winner will represent our country at AFA in Singapore. Here are the videos of the competition.

One of the main highlight of the 2012 Cosplaymania are the appearances of famous cosplayers Kaname and Reika, here are the images.


And of course, besides Kaname and Reika, cosplayers outside of the event are also stars in every cosplay convention. Bonding and having good time with friends and family. Here are the images of cosplayers at the event, please feel free to grab the picture and do share it with your friends or anyone who is into cosplay or Japanese hobby.








And of course, I'd like to see more Fursuit/Furry characters on the next convention. I don't know, but this would be another emerging sub-culture in the Philippines
