Christmas Toyfair would be the one of the most exciting toy event happening here in the Philippines every year — take note this is not an SM toy-sale or Toy-Kingdom sale, stuff like that. Reason why? You can buy rare toys from collectors or sellers which you cannot find in toy section on malls — collectors and sellers who puts their effort and passion in finding those kind of toys that every buyer and fellow collectors also looking for, which you cannot experience in toy section provided by the mall; apologize for that, a die-cast collector here though.
Held at the Megatrade hall 1, on December 16-17, this would be a haven and gathering of toy collectors and hobbyist. Within those days, the organizers prepared a program which visitors will definitely stay.
Toys are the stars on this event; toy makers from the US and Japan are the one dominates; added to that, you can also buy accessories and apparel which showcased Japanese Fashion.
Also on this event, this would be a milestone for Die-Cast Philippines or DCPH. Because this would their first event that they held; the first Philippine Die-Cast and Custom Car Show; like your typical carshow event, the difference is that they showcase die-cast cars from different manufacturer like Tomica or Jada not the real cars — the last time I saw them was from the 2011 Manila Auto Salon held at SMX Convention Center. Hotwheels, Tomica, and Matchbox heaven... ♥♥♥
For those Hello Kitty fans and collectors, here are some images of Hello Kitty items and toys spotted at the event; take note that you cannot see this in Gift-Gate stores.
Here are more images of the said event.
