Philippine Gunpla Builder World Cup entry#27 (Gundam Astry Blue Frame)
Held at the activity center of Robinson's Place Manila, the Gunpla Builders World Cup is the gathering of Gundam builders, hobbyist, enthusiast, and more here in the Phililippines. Winner on the event will represent the country in Hong Kong.
I went there on the third day — just saw on my friends facebook wall though and I was shocked that I overlook my planner; went kinda late though. Contestants are already starting to build their Gundam entries, model kits where provided by the organizers and they are free! How's that for a Gundam Event, all you need is to register and thats it, you will build your Gundam model kits.
The said event is very alive because of the activity that the organizers prepared for the contestants and visitors. The "bring me" contest and the film showing of Gundam series are some of the activity on the third day. But the most exciting part on that event is photoshooting of Gundam models that was showcased at the exhibit.
This is a haven for Gundam enthusiast; different kinds of crafts where displayed. It shows the creativity and passion of the owner.
Around four in the afternoon, the event was already filled with spectators and visitors because the program is already starting. Announcing the winners and will represent our country in Hong Kong.
I forgot, there is also a booth at the event where you can buy Gundam Model Kits courtesy of Toy Kingdom, world's greatest toy-store and also one of the sponsors.
