Enjoy Japan PH Event

Finally, posted again in my blog. Been a while blogging because we are busy on some project collaboration with photographers D Perez Photoworkz and Arnold S Photogs for this 2015 because we are featured on a Japanese blog; at the same time our World Cosplay account is already up and running. No worries things will be more exciting as we will introduce other culture from the land of the rising sun.

Moving forward, we received a message from our famous cosplayer friend that a famous personality will hold an event focusing on the Japanese culture, especially there will be a Japanese fashion and a catwalk at the same time. The event is Enjoy Japan with Tricia Gosingtian — well, anyone knows her in the otaku scene in the Philippines. It is like "Danny Choo" style but she is telling us about Japan and its culture; similar to "Byahe ni Drew" that shows in the local channel. The event was held at the R Space in Bel Air Makati on February 7, Saturday.

Well the event started around 3 in the afternoon; inside, Tricia Gosingtian already telling the audience about her experience in Japan.

By the way, before I forget, if you will go around, you will see booths selling authentic Japanese items.

At the event, the Denim Closet by Kurashiki caught my attention, they brought authentic Denims from Japan — trust me, the quality and the texture of their denims is way different from your regular denim sold in the market.

The only brand that I know selling Japanese denims at the mall are Uniqlo, Bobson, and some signatured denim that is shown in the Philippine Fashion week. But this one, if they will be sold in the department store like SM or Robinsons, consumer will have more option in choosing their pants.

Of course the owner of the brand is present at the said event, wearing a Kimono made in Jeans; how about that.

Of course, prizes where given away to the winners. A very lucky individual will go to Japan.

After prizes were given, the fashion catwalk was next. The collection was from Japacolle

After the the catwalk, Make-Up and Hairstylist Yuka Ikegami and Japanese fashion model Yuri Nakagawa where also present at the said event, showcasing their skills, telling about Japanese fashion, and more.

The show ended at 5 in the afternoon, but it was fun especialy to girls who attended this event. Here are more images from Enjoy Japan PH

We would like to thank, Beru Kashiragu for inviting to the said event, Dave of D Perez Photoworkz, and to Arnold of Arnold-S Photogs.
