Captain America rolled out in Philippine Cinemas.

Captain America The First Avenger

Finally! Watched the another much awaited movie of Marvel Comics; Captain America The First Avenger. The fighting scenes of Captain America and Red Skull, the far ahead technology of Deutsch which Red Skull has the control. A much explosive action movie which kids, kids at heart, comic fanatics, and hobbyist will appreciate. For the comic fanatics and hobbyist this the origin of the Avengers; Avengers Pacific Coast because the Avengers West Coast is headed by Iron Man.

Captain America

The time  started in a world war two era. When Johann Schmidt, the Red Skull and the leader of the H.Y.D.R.A which is the number enemy of the S.H.I.E.L.D is in the quest for a tesseract; I think this is the Pandora's box which is hidden on the doorknob of the Yggdrasil. In New York, America is recruiting American soldier to fight the Deutsch or Germans. Steve Rogers tries to enlist himself but it was declined due to his physical conditions and assets. With the help of Abraham Erskine he was enlisted as an experimental soldier that would be the future of US defense. So this skinny guy from Brooklyn turned into a hunk super soldier. Experiment was done by Abraham Erskine and Howard Stark; father of Tony Stark which also known as the Iron Man. After the experiment Steve Rogers was scene on War bond promotion to accumulate war funds. When Steve Rogers or Captain America was in Europe to give morale to the US soldiers. His drive to be a soldier ignited when his friend was captured by the H.Y.D.R.A; freeing 400 America soldier in the movie. The movie ended when Captain America and Red Skull fought in an early prototype of a B2 bomber and Red Skull handed the pandora's box and denounce.

The Effects and The Movie

The one thing that I notice on the movie is that the effects especially the old American scene it is very obvious that the movie is using some blue screen background or green screen. Thanks to the cinema technology today whether you are going to watch it in 2D or 3D you will see some of the effects.

Overall the movie rocks because there is no dull moments compared to the Green Lantern. The cinematography and the sequence of the story is great. There is no question why the Thor and the Iron Man hits the screen because the director on those movies are also the one directed the Captain America. If you are a comic enthusiast you will appreciate this movie or a marvel enthusiast.

If you are reading this article and have not yet watched the movie I would advise you not to go after the credit because they will show the teaser of the Avengers the movie which will be showing on May next year or May 2012. Hawkeye, Thor, Nick Fury, and Captain America will be there.

2011 Philippine Gundam Model Kit Contest

Gundam Model Kit is one of my favorite hobby. The kit was based on the fictional "Mobile Suit Gundam" I was exposed to this hobby when one my friend was in to it. At that time he was collection Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz series which he already completed. My first kit that I've completed was the Gundam Epyon which until now it is one of my favorite next to Gundam X.

Yesterday I went to Toy Kingdom at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong city which is located in the basement of building A to visit the 2011 Philippine Gundam Model Kit Contest exhibit. Its been awhile that I've visit the event; the last time that I've visit the exhibit was in 2009 and right now one of my friends entered his Gundam Model entry number four which he posted on Facebook that is Phase Shift Reloaded.





The one thing that you will notice that you are already at the event is the HUGE Gundam Model standing along the Toy Kingdom walkway. The entries on the event is more from the Gundam 00 series which is also a big hit. So I roamed around the place took shots of Gundam Models that were built perfectly by Gundam Enthusiast not fanatics.



Also on the place there is a display of Gundam merchandise from Toy Kingdom Philippines which you can buy it and the other one that I like on the event is the showing of Gundam episodes which you can watch it for free! How about that for a freebies.

The exhibit will lasts until July 31 of this year. Hope to see again next year on the said event.
